LOL I DON'T COME HERE ANYMORE, BUT I WANTED TO SEE YOUR REACTION TO THE WEDDING, AND SOMEHOW YOUR POSITIVITY MADE ME FEEL MUCH BETTER ABOUT THAT DISAPPOINTMENT OF AN EPISODE. &MEME;
Blaine, I’m a man who’s always lived in the shadows, and everyone who has ever come into my life has always tried to pull me out into the sun, or push me back into the darkness. I honestly thought that I would never find real love. And then you came along. And even if someone had told me that it wasn’t going to work out, and at the end of all of our struggling and all of our work it would just end in heartache. I would’ve said yes. I’m a work in progress. I’m a work in progress. You don’t ask me to come out of the shadows, you help me rip away anything that’s blocking the sun. It’s time for all of us to walk into the sunshine together. Forever. Is that something you want to do?
I'M THINKING OF WATCHING THE EPISODE, MAYBE WITH THE WEDDING CEREMONY PART MUTED. I HAD TO MUTE THAT APARTMENT KISS VIDEO BECAUSE KURT'S DIALOGUE WAS SO AWKWARD.
Originally Chord Overstreet (Sam) was supposed to whisper to Matthew Morrison (Mr. Schue), "Dude, it's a double gay wedding!" and he had to repeat it over and over again. The producers would call over a loud sound system that he needed to "act more stunned" or "take a bigger pause" before announcing the obvious fact.
I don’t know the text of the Klaine vows, though from comments on here I can gather that they were pretty nauseating, but I love that they apparently incorporated part of Shel Silverstein’s “The Missing Piece” into the speech. This just can’t be a coincidental choice on RIB’s part.
In “The Missing Piece” there is a circle with a piece missing who feels like it’s not complete because it is missing the little triangle (amusingly enough) that would make it like everybody else. The circle has all kinds of adventure as it searches for its missing piece, adapting to find its own way in a world not suited for it. Upon finding the piece it discovers that it can’t do the things it loves anymore (Like singing! With the triangle cutting off its “mouth” it has no voice of its own. Or at least nobody can understand when it tries to sing.) The circle doesn’t like being like everyone else and realizes that the journey was the fun part and that it liked itself better different. It chooses to sweetly but firmly set aside the missing piece and continue life’s journey on its own terms, no longer discontent because it knows who it is and is happy.
The producers asked the extras in the crowd to act more "confused" and "surprised" as Colfer and Criss waked down the aisle. Some struggled more than others.
LOL I WONDER WHAT THE SCRIPT DIRECTIONS WERE FOR AMERICA SINCE IT HAS ALREADY SHIT ITSELF, SWOONED, AND GONE APESHIT IN PREVIOUS EPISODES.
14. One Glee bridesmaid, who shall not be named, kept trying to steal the wedding spotlight with an over-acted shocked face as the two couples walked down the aisle. It was actually extremely distracting. Luckily it was cut from the episode.
SO NOW THAT KURT AND BLAINE PRETTY MUCH HAVE BEEN TIED UP WITH A BOW, AND GLEE ITSELF IS NEARLY OVER, ARE THERE ANY GRATE LONGFICS YOU WILL REMEMBER FONDLY, OR KEEP AROUND TO RE-READ EVEN AFTER YOU LEAVE WHAT'S LEFT OF GLEE FANDOM? DON'T FORGET TO DD WHY THEY'RE SO GRATE.
I KEEP LOLING AT BLAINE'S LINE IN THE VOWS ABOUT THINKING HE WOULD NEVER FIND REAL L. BLAINE YOU ARE 20-YEARS-OLD AND HAVE HAD TWO BOYFRANDS YOUR WHOLE LIFE.
